End users often resist change when it comes to usability in software applications. Using an Early Adoption and Training strategy, customers can avoid common pitfalls during upgrade and migration projects. The architecture of the Siebel 7x applications is radically different from the earlier versions of the application. This makes it imperative that the users should be allowed to view and use the Siebel 7x application early in the process of application upgrades and migrations. This helps in keeping the costs of training low and ensures a successfully deployment. The ultimate success of a deployment usually depends upon the quality of end-user training provided.

Early Adoption Solutions
The ePairs Professional Services (EPS) team provides Early Adoption solutions targeted at end-users within large and mid-size organizations. These short-term solutions provide end-users with a hands-on Siebel environment to better understand the application prior to a deployment. Just short of a full-fledged training course, these services are meant to familiarize the users with the new features of the Siebel application, especially with respect to navigation, common tasks, concepts and general usability of the application.
Early Adoption solutions are setup and deployed at either the client site or at the ePairs Siebel Center of Excellence (SCOE). When deployed at the client site, the EPS team will use the resources of the client to setup and maintain the Early Adoption solution for the duration of the program. Typical durations range from 3 days to 2 weeks during which end-users will have access to these solutions and can familiarize themselves with the various aspects of the application. As a part of the package, the EPS team will provide technical professionals to train the end-users in the use the application.
Alternatively, the Early Adoption program can be arranged at our headquarters in the Silicon Valley. We are currently in the process of the setting up a round-the-clock Siebel Center of Excellence (SCOE) at our headquarters in the Silicon Valley with a co-hosted server located at our offshore development center in India. When setup, this COE will provide web-based access to various solutions that will be managed and deployed by the ePairs Support Team (EST).
Advanced Training Solutions
The EPS team provides advanced Siebel training solutions for end-users in large and mid-size organizations. These training solutions are aimed at understanding a specific domain of the application in-depth. These are not run-of-the-mill training solutions and are specifically designed to help users gain the full benefits of the application to achieve specific business objectives. For example, a customer may be interested in understanding Siebel Incentive Compensation module in-depth to leverage the features internally within their organization. In such a case, the EPS team can arrange for a 3 day in-depth training package delivered in a classroom or hands-on (optional) mode at the customer site.
The length of the Advanced Training Solutions depends upon the individual needs of our customers. These solutions are tailor-made to fit the exact requirements of the customer. Although, Advanced Training Solutions are usually conducted at the customer sites, these can also be arranged at the ePairs SCOE.
